Torfaen Young People's Music & Arts Trust
Torfaen has many young people excelling in the arts and performing at every level with many showing enthusiasm and commitment as well as much outstanding talent.
This fund has been established to advance the education of young people in music and the arts, and in order to provide facilities for young people for recreation and leisure time occupation involving, or connected with music and the arts.
The over-riding objective is to promote the social welfare of the young people of Torfaen and to improve the conditions of life.
The Trustees are pleased to announce that they have decided to create a second opportunity for young people to access funding. Instead of one application process per year, the Trust will be reviewing applications twice yearly from here on in and instead of posting a closing date will accept applications at any time during the year, to be held until the next application review. However, awards will only be granted once to an applicant in any academic year. The next application review will take place on the 10th May 2010.
