Exercise for Life - Community Walks
Torfaen ‘Take a Stroll’ Community Walks
Want to get out and about in your community and improve your well being by walking?
Torfaen 'Take a Stroll' aims to get more people active and walking in their community, especially those who take little exercise or live in areas of poor health.
The scheme is a Walking the Way to Health Project funded by the Countryside Council for Wales, British Heart Foundation and the Big Lottery Fund. The funding supports a Project coordinator and the training of volunteers to become qualified walk leaders.
