Torfaen Allowance Scheme
The Torfaen Allowance Scheme has been introduced by Torfaen County Borough Council’s Leisure & Culture service, to provide a real benefit to a wide range of local customers. It exists to provide discounted rates to allow access to various leisure centre based health & fitness activities.
The scheme exists to encourage Torfaen residents – who may not currently be able to access our facilities due to financial constraints to enjoy using Council owned leisure facilities in the Borough.
To gain the Allowance, a completed application form, proof of eligibility and residency should be mailed to the address listed on the application form. (Torfaen Allowance Scheme applications are only accepted via post).
Once accepted into the scheme you will be issued with a Torfaen Leisure Card (if you do not already hold one) and your eligibility will be programmed onto the card which allows you access at discounted rates. The Allowance Scheme is subject to renewal (based on the period of entitlement stated on the evidence supplied).
