Play a key part in planning and commissioning housing-related support schemes?

Play a key role in the strategic and financial planning and development of supported housing services.
You will be responsible to the Supporting People Manager and will work with a variety of partner agencies from the public, private and voluntary sectors.
You will lead on the development of the Torfaen Supporting People Operational Plan and annual planning framework.
You will be the key lead for identifying people’s needs for housing-related support and supported accommodation within the borough, will identify gaps in service provision, and strategically and financially plan the Supporting People Programme to best meet those gaps.
You will lead on the development of written policies and procedures and maintain awareness of good practice and relevant government policy or legislative changes and advise accordingly.
You will regularly communicate with, consult and involve key stakeholders and provide progress, analysis and other reports as required.
You will actively promote the Programme and its benefits, chair the Supporting People Inclusive Forum and represent Supporting People at a variety of meetings and events.
As part of a team of 7, you will need to be a good team player with loads of enthusiasm. We are looking for someone with the ability to be analytical, creative, and able to grasp concepts easily.
You will be an excellent communicator (including report writing and presentation skills), have the ability to work with minimal supervision, be able to effectively plan and organise workloads to meet deadlines and targets and have an understanding of social disadvantage and social exclusion. You will have line management responsibilities.
