This project is part of the larger Heads of the Valley project that aims to move 10,000 people into employment over the next 5 years.
How the project works:
Client Advisors engage with prospective beneficiaries and assist them to overcome any barriers they may have to gaining employment. This may include training courses, confidence building, interview techniques, etc. The beneficiary is ‘matched’ to a job.
Employment Liaison Officers offer in work support for the first year of employment and assist beneficiaries to access a career progression fund, which will allow continued professional development.
Employment Routes provision offers wage supported employment opportunities to beneficiaries and are designed to address personal barriers to employment.
Entry Criteria
16+ people who are unemployed. You need not be claiming any benefit
