Empty Properties

Torfaen County Borough Council helps to bring empty houses back into use and deals with the problems caused by empty and run-down private houses.

Empty private properties can be a problem because:

• They often attract vandalism
• They often attract anti-social behaviour
• They devalue neighbouring properties
