Valuation Banding

How has my property been valued?

From 1 April 2005, the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) has placed all domestic property in Wales into the new bands. The band reflects the value of the property as at 1 April 2003 and the VOA have used sales price data from around this date to arrive at the banding.

The amount of Council Tax you pay for a property will depend on the valuation band in which it has been placed.
