Torfaen Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB)
Torfaen Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) co-ordinates the work done by each person or body represented on the Board for the purposes of protecting and safeguarding children and young people and promoting their welfare.
The LSCB is a statutory board arising from The Children Act 2004; it replaced the Area Child Protection Committee.
Its member agencies include the police, local health board, education, probation, voluntary agencies, social services, and many others.
