Adult Education Access Support Team

The Adult Education Access Support Team helps people with learning and physical disabilities or mental health needs to enjoy part-time study and gain qualifications.

Classes are held in the community so that students learn alongside people who do not have disabilities and the support provided ranges from one-to-one assistance for people with high needs to lower level support for those with minimal requirements.

An additional programme of activities is provided during the Christmas, Easter, summer and half term educational holidays.

Who is it for?

The service is for people aged between 18 and 65 with learning or physical disabilities or mental health needs. Wheelchair access is not available at all educational settings. Transport may be available.
