Community Care Services

Torfaen’s community care services support adults to live safely and independently in their own homes.

People who might need our support:

  • Older people
  • Older people with mental health issues
  • Adults with a physical disability or a sensory impairment
  • Adults with a learning disability
  • Adults with mental health issues
  • Carers for people in any of these groups.

We are committed to providing up-to-date information about our services to anyone who wants it. A full range of our community care leaflets is available on these pages, including information about specific services, our eligibility criteria, our charging policy, how to pay and how to complain if you are not happy with the services you receive.

You can also pick up copies of many of these leaflets at our Customer Care Centres, GP surgeries, health clinics, libraries, Citizens Advice Bureau and other outlets, or alternatively, contact Customer Care on 01495 762200.
