HSCWB Partnership Board

Welcome to the Health Social Care and Well-being Partnership Board section of the website.

 

The purpose of the HSCWB Partnership Board is to develop and implement strategies to improve health and well-being. This is a joint statutory duty for Local Authorities and Local Health Boards.

The Health Social Care and Well-being Strategy will form part of the Community Strategy.

 

Membership of the board includes bodies across the whole board inlcuding Torfaen CBC, Torfaen LHB, National Public Health Service and Service User Representatives. A list of the full membership is available to download here.

 

The selection of the duties that the Partnership Board are required : 

  • Undertake a comprehensive health and well-being needs assessment.
  • Ensure effective engagement with Key Stakeholders, including the public in the development implementation nad monitoring of the Strategy.
  • Take appropiate action to ensure the achievement of the work plan.
  • The partnership board will produce and annual progress report at the end of year in accordance with WAG Guidance.
