Welcome to the Children and Young People area of the website.
Here you will be able to find information on the Torfaen Young People's Support Service (TYPSS) and support available for Young Carers.
Torfaen Young People’s Support Service |
TYPSS is a Multi-Agency/Multi-Disciplinary service which takes a holistic approach to meeting the needs of vulnerable young people aged 16 to 21.
Young Carers|
A Young Carer is someone up to the age of 18 who provides care which would normally be undertaken by an adult. The person they help may be seriously ill, disabled, have mental health problems, or misuse alcohol or drugs.
You Can Complain Too|
It's important that children and young people who use children's services know they can get support and help to raise their concerns or make a complaint. A new leaflet co-written by young people explains how to do this.
Young People SPK Out|
Young people across Torfaen aged between 11 and 25 years old have been consulted regarding the issues that affect their health, social care & well-being. The issues were used to create a glossy magazine called “SPK OUT”
