Commercial Waste Collections
Torfaen County Borough Council operates a Trade Waste Collection service for local businesses. Businesses are obliged to make sure their commercial waste is disposed of properly in relation to the ‘Duty of Care’ under the Environmental Protection Act. A registered waste collection service must be used.
If your business generates waste, you must make sure you prevent waste escaping by suitably containing it.
There are a variety of collection methods available including:

sacks in rolls of 50
-
standard 240 litre wheelie bins &
-
larger 1100 litre bins
A multi collection service of more than one collection per week is also available by prior arrangement. All collections are subject to a charge and are based on the customer’s individual requirements.
