Complaints
We receive very few complaints about our service, but we still recognise that there may be times when we do not deliver the service that you expect from us.
If you have a problem with our service, there are a number of steps you can take
-
Speak to the officer dealing with your case – there may be something that he or she can do to help improve our service to you, or there may be a good reason why we are doing what we are doing which we can explain to you (we may be delivering the service as the law requires)
-
Speak to the team manager
Alison Hughes - Head of Food, Health and Safety Enforcement (which includes the Animal and Pest Control team)
Tel: 01633 647258
E-mail: alison.hughes@torfaen.gov.uk |
-
Speak to the senior manager for the Section
Kim Pugh Head of Public Protection
Tel: 01633 647627
E-mail: kim.pugh@torfaen.gov.uk|
You can also make a complaint to the Local Government Ombudsman, although you generally have to go through our complaints procedure before the Ombudsman will investigate your complaint. For further information visit the website of the Local Government Ombudsman|.
