Public Health Pests

There are a number of pests that can affect homes. Whilst some of these have public health implications, most do not cause disease and many are relatively harmless.


Torfaen County Borough Council offers a free service for householders to treat the following public health pests:

  • Rats
  • Mice
  • Bed Bugs
  • Cockroaches

If you need one of these services, you should contact our Pest Control Service on 01633 647621 / 647622, so that we can arrange to visit your home to carry out any treatment needed.Bed Bug
