Success Stories
Congratulations to Ben who has been selected as Torfaen Training's Success Story 2010.
Ben has been nominated by his Training Officer for his achievement, dedication and commitment in his career development at
Micaul Solar Ltd.
Ben started with Torfaen Training as a rather shy and reserved learner. When Ben joined us he had no formal qualifications, Ben gained a placement with Micaul Solar Ltd.
Under the tutelage of Mike Dowell of Micaul Solar Ltd he started to blossom and increase in confidence . Ben completed a level 1 qualification in Performing Engineering Operations.He then progressed to a Foundation Modern Apprenticeship in Plumbing which he completed in September 2009.
Ben is Currently working towards a Modern Apprenticeship in Plumbing, which he is due to complete in 2011.
Ben has progressed well at Micaul Solar and is now a valid member of their team, he is currently a Team Leader for installation contracts. Not only is Ben an excellent role model he is also able to pass on his skills to other apprentices.
