Congratulations to Natalie - APSE Apprentice of the Year Finalist
We would like to congratulation Natalie Tonks on becoming a Finalist in the APSE (Association for Public Service Excellence) Apprentice of the Year Awards 2007.
Natalie was entered into the APSE Female Housing and Building Apprentice of the Year 2007 category where she beat over 60 other candidates to be invited to the prestigious award ceremony in Leeds.
The award was sponsored by the Construction Youth Trust and Natalie was presented with her award by Leslie Peers; sponsor and Cllr John Kerr-Brown who is the APSE National Chair.
Natalie has shown tremendous dedication to her employer - TCBC's Operational Services and also great levels of enthusiasm towards her training.
Natalie is currently completing her NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Installation and Commissioning with Torfaen Training. Her Training Officer from Torfaen Training has nothing but praise for her efforts in becoming a fully qualified electrician.
Torfaen County Borough Council (TCBC) also picked up an award during the evening. The award was to recognise the commitment to training and development and to honour both Torfaen Training and Operational Services for their continued effort and foresight in the delivery of apprenticeship programmes.
Well Done Natalie, we at Torfaen Training and Operational Services are very proud of your achievements to date.
