Customer Complaints
To improve our Customer Service to you, we feel it necessary to publish the complaints we receive. We are happy to say that these are few and far between.
Incident / Complaint 1 - July 2010
A complaint was made in relation to a learner's placement, the learner was not happy with the way she was treated and that the Employer was refusing to give a reference.
Resolution
Torfaen Training met with the employer to address the issues raised and these were resolved. Torfaen Training also made the Employer aware of the protocol that must be followed with learners.
The complaint was resolved to the satisfaction of both parties.
Incident / Complaint 2 - October 2010
A complaint was made by Careers Wales Gwent in regards to Torfaen Training requiring proof of identification to work in the UK
Resolution
After much discussion it has accepted that the checks we undertake to verify a young person's eligibility to access a WAG funded programme also verify the nationality of the individual, therefore, Torfaen Training no longer need to ask for a birth certificate or passport as proof of ID.
The complaint was resolved to the satisfaction of all parties.
