Customer Complaints
To improve our Customer Service to you, we feel it necessary to publish the complaints we receive. We are happy to say that these are few and far between.
Incident / Complaint 1 - February 2008
The incident arose when a learner was deemed to be treated unfairly by his work placement
Resolution
Torfaen Training spoke at length to the work placement and the situation was rectified. Unfortunately, the learner didn't fell he could return to work placement so a new placement was found to the satisfaction of the learner and his family.
The complaint was resolved to the satisfaction of both parties.
Incident / Complaint 2 - May 2008
A complaint was made in relation to a learner's placement coming to an end with no possible opportunity of full time employment at the company
Resolution
Torfaen Training explained that the nature of work undertaken did not cover recruitment into full time employment although we always look for work placements with likely career progression. All outstnading issues with the actual learner's circumstances were referred to Careers Wales Gwent for resolution
The complaint was resolved to the satisfaction of both parties.
Incident / Complaint 3 - April 2008
A complaint from a family member regarding a learner being dismissed from work placement
Resolution
The learner's Careers Officer was involved and it was decided that the learner would benefit from the Gateway programme offered by Careers Wales Gwent to help him with his time keeping skills and maturity in the workplace.
The complaint was resolved to the satisfaction of all parties.
