Charter Mark
Torfaen Training has been awarded Charter Mark status by the Cabinet Office. The Charter Mark is the UK Government's national standard for excellence in customer service.
The Charter Mark can be used as a tool to improve quality and to examine current service delivery approaches. It also recognises and encourages excellence and is centred on the needs of the customer and should be used to improve customer service.
The Charter Mark is awarded for a period of three years, following a rigorous process of self-assessment and evidence gathering to meet the Cabinet Office set criteria.
There are 6 main criteria in which Torfaen Training had to prove competence. These criteria included:

Torfaen Training is one of the first departments within Torfaen County Borough Council to be accredited with Charter Mark status and we hope that with this recognition we can continue to strive for excellent customer service.
