Transfer between Schools

Changing schools is an issue which needs to be given serious consideration as it is not always the answer and can have a detrimental affect on a child's education.

Should you decide to transfer your child you will need to complete the appropriate transfer application form which is available from Kathryn Worwood, Forward Planning and Performance on 01633 647344.

On receipt of the transfer form every effort will be made to reach a decision within 15 school days but in exceptional circumstances this could take up to 30 school days.

Please remember transfers must be approved by the local education authority.

In the event of your application being refused you would receive written details of the reasons for refusal and details of your right of appeal to an independent appeals panel.

Full details on the procedures involved in transferring children can be found in the Schools Information Booklet|
