School Admissions

All parents must apply to send their children to school. All applications for admission are dealt with by an 'Admissions Authority' which within Torfaen is the Local Education Authority.

The following pages relate to the arrangements for admission into Reception (Infants), Year 3 (Junior) and Year 7 (Secondary).

Parents should be aware however that Voluntary Aided (VA) Schools are their own admissions authority and have their own criteria for deciding which pupils to offer places.
