Following ‘Fair Funding’ LEA responsibility for revenue repairs and maintenance was delegated to schools. Authorities retain the responsibility for monitoring schools and for ensuring that buildings meet educational needs.
The requirement for maintenance shall not be less than that necessary to meet statutory health and safety and current legal requirements.
