The key functions of the Forward Planning team are:
To manage the supply of school places within all schools in Torfaen, and to support any school reorganisation proposals arising from strategies identified in the21st Century Schools Programme
To develop and update a Service Asset Management Plan
Capital Building Projects
School Repair and Refurbishment
To ensure all educational establishments fulfil these duties with regards to Statutory Testing and Inspections
Developing Welsh Medium Provision
Health and Safety
Outdoor Education/School Trips and Visits
