Day Nurseries
Day Nurseries offer full day care or sessional care, for children under the age of five. They offer a wide range of play activities and provide separate facilities for babies and toddlers. Day nurseries also provide access to a safe, secure outdoor play space and have facilities for rest periods, with meals provided on site.
Some nurseries are able to offer part-time education funded by the Local Education Authority from the term after a child’s 4th birthday.
