Children’s University|

The Children's University is an innovative and dynamic project that raises children's self-esteem, achievements and learning aspirations through the delivery of out of school hours literacy focused programmes. 

 

 

Duke of Edinburgh's Award|

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award aims to provide an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding programme of personal development for young people aged from 14 to 25.

 

 

 

Paid Work or Work Experience|

Children and young people can work on a part time basis, however there are restrictions depending on their age, on the number of hours they can work and the type of employment. 

 

 

School Holiday Schemes

There are various activities and events available for children during the school holidays. School Holiday Play Schemes provide a range of play and sporting activities and are located in schools and leisure centres throughout Torfaen.
