FAQs

Why don’t I get credits for everything I attend out of school hours?

If you attend a club or organisation where you are not receiving CU credits, then the organisation that provides the activity can register with the Children’s University. Please ask your activity tutor to contact us. Details are provided at the bottom of the page.

How soon will it be before I gain a certificate?

  • If you are in Years 1 to 3 you will need 50 hours participation to gain the bronze award
  • If you are in Years 4 to 8 you will need 100 hours participation to gain the bronze award
  • If you are in Years 9 to 13 you will need 150 hours participation to gain the bronze award

How much does it cost?

The Education Service does not charge anything to join and the credit statements and certificates are free, however you may be charged to take part in the activity. You will need to check with your activity tutor.
