Returning to Work
Parents Plus is a project aimed at attracting people back to education, training and employment.
Parents Plus offers a broad range of classes including those for beginners, those which generate an interest in learning and some that offer vocational qualifications. The classes may:

Offer qualifications recognised by employers

Offer skills and qualifications which can lead to self-employment

Offer the chance to learn something new in a relaxed and friendly environment

Be held in community venues

Provide free childcare

Course details are published in the Adult Education brochure, delivered to every house and business or you can use the on-line search facility.

Who is the Service for?
The service is available to anyone living in Torfaen (or any other Objective 1 area), aged over 16.
Although the project is called Parents Plus, you do not have to be a parent to become involved.
