Corporate Director Resources

The Corporate Director for Resources is Peter Durkin.

 

Peter's role is different from the rest of the strategic management team in that he has considerable line management responsibilities for a range of staff providing support services to the Council.

 

These include:

• Human Resources
• Health and safety
• Finance (including accountancy, creditors, insurance and risk management)
• Pensions administration and investment
• Payroll
• Audit
• Revenues and Benefits
• Legal services
• Information technology
• Procurement
• Asset management
• Archives
• Emergency management
• Mail, courier, reprographics
