Committee Meeting Dates
The meeting dates and times| given in the attached are correct at the time of publication.
Members of the public are welcome to attend nearly all meetings of Torfaen County Borough Council. Meetings are usually held at the Civic Centre Pontypool. Numbers in public areas are limited through Health and Safety Regulations, however, so if you would like to attend or believe that a large number of people will be present, please call the Democracy and Scrutiny Team on 01495 766082 so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
If circumstances warrant it, we can make other rooms available and provide an audio or audio/visual link. If numbers exceed capacity, a ticket system will operate to allocate seats on a first-come, first-served basis and will be issued half an hour before the meeting begins.
Council Policy Seminars are usually held on Mondays at 2.00 pm and are informative sessions around the range of issues facing the County Borough and the public are usually welcome to attend and observe.
Licensing Panel meetings are usually held on Thursdays and may not be open to the press and public. Please ring 01495 766057 to check.
Planning Committees are held approximately every 4 weeks. Information on these can be obtained by calling 01495 766057.
