Executive Forward Plan

The Executive Forward Plan (EFP) is a list of the key decisions that we expect the executive of Torfaen County Borough Council to take over the coming months.

 

 

"The executive" means either the Cabinet, individual members of the Cabinet or strategic directors and chief officers. "Key decisions" are those decisions that have been defined as needing to be publicised and consulted upon in advance.

 

The purpose of the EFP is to ensure that members of the public and others are informed in advance of what decisions are likely to be taken. This will enable them to make their views known about those decisions and ask questions at the right time.

 

The EFP is arranged by department (or executive portfolio) and lists:

• the decisions which are likely to be taken
• when those decisions are likely to be taken
• who they are likely to be taken by
• who to contact about the issues on which decisions are expected
• who will be consulted before the decisions are taken and
• the wards which will be affected by the decision.
