If you are someone who uses health and social care services we’d like you to share your good and bad experiences with us.
Torfaen’s Have Your Say forum is a group of people who are working with health and social care professionals to improve and plan future services.
The forum has direct links with Torfaen’s six Joint Strategic Implementation Groups (JSIGS) so members will definitely be able to influence the decision-makers.
Forum chair, Chris Campbell, said forum members were being encouraged to identify any gaps in existing service provision.
"This is an opportunity for your views to reach the top, which has got to be good for everybody," he added. "We have a very workable structure in Torfaen but it needs participation from people for it to be successful. Service user representatives will take all comments back to the relevant JSIG."
"Whether you are representing a group or just yourself, come along to the next meeting. We need you."
Torfaen has developed eight Joint Commissioning Strategies which set out how health and social care services will be developed in the borough.
Six JSIGS have been set up to ensure that the detailed action plans relating to specific service areas, e.g. older people, mental health, are being followed through.
