Street cleansing is carried out on a fortnightly basis in this ward, the carriageways are mechanically swept once a month and all local shopping centres are cleansed on a daily basis, refuse collection takes place on a Thursday
There is a recycling area in the Pontnewydd Inn Car Park for clear, brown and green glass
