Street cleansing is carried out on a fortnightly basis in this ward, the carriageways are mechanically swept once a month and all local shopping centres are cleansed on a daily basis, refuse collection takes place on a Wednesday
There is a recycling area at the Civic Amenity Site for shoes, brown, green and clear glass, cans, paper, textiles, books and videos, oil and CFC’s
