Street cleansing is carried out on a fortnightly basis in this ward, the carriageways are mechanically swept once a month and all local shopping centres are cleansed on a daily basis, refuse collection takes place on a Friday
There is a recycling area in Sainsburys Car Park for clear, brown and green glass and for paper, textiles, books and videos. There is also a recycling area in the Oakfield Public House Car Park for shoes and paper. There is a recycling area in the rear car park of Asda for shoes and clothing.
