Torfaen Children & Young People's Partnership
Torfaen Children and Young People's Partnership (TCYPP) brings together representatives of all agencies which contribute to the well-being of children, families and young people in Torfaen.
The vision of the Torfaen Children and Young People Partnership is: All Torfaen's children have their rights to survival, development, protection and participation fulfilled. The Partnership is committed to and endorses The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, The Welsh Assembly Government's seven core aims for children and the Welsh Assembly Government's ten entitlements for young people.
The aims of the Partnership are that:

Children and young people are achieving their potential in education and developing appropriately

Children and young people are taking part in sport, music, art and cultural activities

Children and young people are involved, listened to and respected

All young people over 16 are working/learning/training
The Partnership was established in February 2003 and is the method for achieving a joined up response for all strategic planning and the best outcome for the needs of children, young people and their families in Torfaen.
