The Gwent Record Office is closed to the public until October when it will reopen as Gwent Archives at its new premises in Ebbw Vale. Please see the Opening Times| page for more details.

By car
Follow signposts showing County Hall on the A4042 Newport to Abergavenny Road, avoiding Cwmbran Town Centre.
By train
Cwmbran Railway Station (for connections with Newport and Shrewsbury) is one mile from County Hall.
By bus
The Bus Station is located in the town centre (about 1¼ miles away). Some buses from Newport also pass County Hall.
