Proposals and Appeals
The valuation officer may alter the rateable value if the circumstances of the property has changed. The ratepayer and others who have an interest in the property may in certain circumstances propose a change in the value.
If in any change the interested party and the valuation officer do not agree the valuation within 3 months of the proposal being made, the matter will be referred as an appeal to the valuation tribunal.
