The Trading Standards Service exists for the benefit of both consumers and businesses within the Torfaen area. Our aim is to ensure a fair and safe trading environment. We implement this through law enforcement, advice and education.
Trading Standards provides education and advice to consumers and traders on their rights and obligations in relation to the purchase and sale of goods and services. They also provide advice on general contract law and aspects of home safety.
